ACCPAC business partners can now add Linux to their product portfolios as the company pushes the penguin with Red Hat. The company is aiming its products on Linux at the being particularly suited to small and medium enterprises due to its cost-effective nature.
“Middle East companies looking for a world class end-to-end e-business solution can now implement ACCPAC on Linux, the world’s leading open source platform,” says Yahya Kassab, regional business development manager of Red Hat.
“ACCPAC solutions run on all the major operating systems and databases in use today. Open source software and the flexibility it allows are important strategically to ACCPAC. Linux, the world’s most popular open source Unix version, was the next logical step for us, especially with the success of our own open source code strategy,” adds Marc Van der Ven, regional manager for ACCPAC.
