Microsoft Opens the door again
Microsoft is teaming up with HP and Avaya to bring its OpenDoor roadshow to the region again. The roadshow will address IT development, investment and business objectives.
Microsoft is teaming up with HP and Avaya to bring its OpenDoor roadshow to the region again. The roadshow will address IT development, investment and business objectives, while The Microsoft Business Forum has been introduced to address business communities.
“The IT industry in the region is constantly evolving and is mapping better and better with any company’s business objectives”, said Yasser Zeineldin, marketing manager, Microsoft GEM. “We are therefore structuring our roadshow series in a way that addresses specific needs and specific communities. OpenDoor will focus on updating IT professionals and developers on the latest in Microsoft technologies while The Microsoft Business Forum will show business decision makers how their companies can benefit from Microsoft and its partners technology solutions.”
OpenDoor will include updates on Windows XP, multiple sessions on security, as well as focusing on Microsoft’s Internet Security & Accelelration Server 2000.
The Business Forum will address issues including business productivity, project management, decision support systems, and information for mobile workers. “The forum will be an opportunity for business decision makers in the region to better understand the clear business advantages that can be gained through the implementation of technology,” explained Simon Ramson, community development manager, Microsoft, GEM.
The shows are scheduled to start on the 20th of August in Pakistan and will move on to Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malta, Cyprus, Abu Dhabi and Oman.
