Work on Microsoft’s new Internet City offices hit a minor snag last week. Biggest software company in the world or not, it seems that the contractor responsible for putting the signs on the DIC building had a little problem with the correct spelling of ‘Microsoft’. After putting up an ‘M’ and then an ‘R’ the penny dropped, and work was halted.

Maybe Bill is planning on a rebranding to try and dodge a break-up ruling from the US Department of Justice? “Mr Gate's Famous Operating System Company” anybody?
