Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME) is building storage awareness in the region with a series of roadshows highlighting storage management for e-business from June 2nd to 14th.

The roadshows will include technology updates, and advice on storage solutions. Computer Associates will also take the opportunity to showcase future product lines, such as an Open Systems Management Framework for enterprise storage area network management.

“The amount of data stored on distributed servers is increasing constantly, while backup windows continue to shrink. Storage management, security of data, and disaster recovery have become very high priorities in the Middle East,” said Abdul Karim Riyaz, regional marketing manager, Computer Associates, Middle East.

“As e-business and Internet adoption increase in the Middle East, and as organisations become more competitive, enterprise storage is now one of the most critical business issues in the region today. CA-ME is conducting this road show initiative to increase the level of regional awareness about the necessity for a long-term storage and disaster recovery strategy and its benefits,” explained Riyaz.

The roadshow will stop in Jeddah (2nd), Riyadh (3rd), Khobar (4th), Manama (5th), Abu Dhabi (6th), Dubai (10th), Muscat (11th), Doha (12th), Kuwait City (13th), and Beirut (14th).
