HP exports call centre strategy to Saudi Arabia
Following hot on the heels of its successful e-Store promotion in the UAE, HP is taking its call centre strategy to customers in Saudi Arabia
Hewlett-Packard (HP) is expanding the reach of its call centre strategy into Saudi Arabia. Following the initial success of its e-Store promotion, which was actively supported from the UAE-based customer call centre, HP is planning to embark on a similar strategy Saudi.
“Ensuring customer satisfaction at all times is at the heart of HP's business strategy,” said William Cassir, program manager for commercial sales at HP Middle East.
“The deployment of our CRM activities in the region is allowing us to go the extra mile in providing our customers with the highest level of service.”
The e-Store promotion, which has been running for the last two months in the UAE, has seen revenue on advertised products rise by 20%. Agents from the call centre made follow up calls to customers that purchased products, to ensure that they had received their products and are satisfied.
The Saudi call centre will be based out of the recently opened Riyadh office.
The opening of the Saudi call centre is going to be the first of many, as HP looks to carry is strategy across the Gulf.
“For our Saudi Arabian customers, we now have the HP office in Riyadh, and we are adding more HP products on the e-store web site, which customers can access from anywhere in Saudi Arabia, purchase online and have the products home delivered, the way it is done in the UAE,” added Cassir.
