STME creates virtual storage solution in KSA

Saudi’s International Airport Project opted for STME’s virtual storage solution in order to control massive amounts of data and improve work-flow throughout its systems.

Regional VAR, STME, has implemented Saudi Arabia’s International Airports Project (IAP) virtual storage strategy, including minimal manual intervention, ease of use and greater data integrity.

The driving force behind the adoption of the storage solution was the doubling of its managed facilities and data when it took on responsibility for international airports, on top of the ten domestic airports it already runs.

“With IAP’s increased responsibilities and commitment to customer service, we were actually experiencing more errors and less efficiency in our operations, said Faisal Bafadhl, deputy director of IT for IAP.

With the solution, IAP now has the capacity to store, manage and protect all of the critical data from its airports, including logistics systems, personnel systems, airline billing systems and passenger traffic data.
