Roadshow to address Web Content Distribution challenge
CacheFlow, EMC and Foundry Networks are due to hit the Middle East next month with the Web Content Distribution Networks Roadshow, offering attendees advice on how to solve the main challenges facing networks today.
CacheFlow Middle East, EMC and Foundry Networks have joined forces to host a series of seminars on ‘Web Content Distribution Networks’ in the Middle East next month.
The seminar kicks off in Dubai on 19th May 2001 followed by Dammam 20th May 2001, Riyadh 21st May 2001, Cairo 22nd May 2001 and Kuwait 23rd May 2001.
The series of seminars will address the whole spectrum of issues involved such as the best location and the optimum server to serve the content, managing content replication, maintaining content freshness, intelligently delivering content, achieving accounting and billing.
During the seminars, the three technology partners will demonstrate how ISPs, ASPs and enterprises can deliver media-rich and bandwidth-hungry content to consumers around the world with high performance, cost-effective content-delivery networks.
“The series of seminars will outline the main challenges facing networks today, such as network congestion, poor response time, flash traffic floods and scalability,” says Ray Kafity, general manager, CacheFlow Middle East.
“Increasingly, networks have to cope with the growth in Web-enabled traffic as enterprises and ASPs are continually shifting their business model to be Internet-centric,” he added.
The seminars will offer delegates an in-depth view of the combined solutions being offered by the technology trio.
“CacheFlow will showcase its intelligent content distribution and management solutions, EMC will present its highly available Network Attached Storage systems and Foundry Networks will demonstrate its intelligent web switching and web server load balancing solutions,” says Kafity.
