Talent Office for DIC, DMC and DIO tenants

Dubai Technology, E-commerce and Media Free Zone and Nicholson International are launching a 'Talent Office' to help the free zone's companies find the right human resources

Dubai Technology, E-commerce and Media Free Zone has teamed up with Nicholson International to launch a dedicated ‘Talent Office’ for the free zone’s tenants.

Nicholson, a global human resources consultant, is managing the office, which aims to help companies in Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Dubai Ideas Oasis find the talented individuals they need to man their businesses. Nicholson will establish an online resource where tenants can post their job vacancies and interested candidates can also post their credentials. The office itself will be physically located in Dubai Media City.

Nicholson says it will also be able to use its global network of offices to find talented individuals that can fill job vacancies at the free zone's companies. The company has a presence across all of Europe, North and Latin America, and China.

“Tenants need a well thought out and focused HR tool,” said Graham Thomas, managing director, Nicholson International Middle East. Users of the service, he added, will be charged an annual subscription based on the company’s size.

Saeed Hussain Al Muntafiq, chief executive officer, Dubai Media City, says the new service is all part of the value proposition of providing valuable business services to tenants. “We have already attracted world class companies. They need world class people and the Talent Office has been created to supply our business partners with the knowledge workers they need from the talent pool both in the UAE and around the world,” he said.

Interactive Technologies, a UAE-based new media specialist, will create the Web site and employee database for the service.
