UAE take Newcomers award in UK conference

An office equipment outlet based in the UAE has received an award at the EPSON International Projector Conference in the UK after recording impressive sales figures.

The UAE has taken a rare first prize at an international event. Al Mahbara Office Equipment (Almoe Trading) was presented with the ‘Newcomers’ Award’ for projector distribution at the EPSON International Projector Conference held in the UK.

The company, with offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, specialises in audio-visual and office automation systems.

Since being appointed EPSON distributors less than a year ago, Almoe Trading has significantly increased sales of EPSON multimedia projectors in the UAE.

This success has led to the expansion of Almoe’s distribution rights to include other GCC countries.

Great Results

“Almoe has achieved great results for EPSON in the UAE in a short period of time and as a result our share increased by double digits,” said Jonathan Baker, EPSON general manager, Middle East.

Tyronne Pires, manager, Almoe Trading, said they have been working very hard to increase market share.

“The company has been providing after-sales services to customers throughout the region from Dubai,” he said. “Our target for this year is to reach 500 units within the UAE and 1000 units within the GCC.”
