US-based networking vendor Mariner Networks has announced the establishment of a European subsidiary, Mariner Networks Europe Limited.

Mariner Networks Europe will represent the company’s interests across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mariner Networks supplies broadband access concentrators for the Wide Area Networking communities. The company’s products enable small, branch and regional offices to access broadband services.

Mariner Networks’ technology developments are focused on IP delivery enhancement products that will allow public and private network operators to integrate their separate voice, data and video networks onto a single, high performance WAN backbone.

Significant Growth

Mariner Networks are planning for significant growth in the European market, and already have beta trials of their Dexter branch office access system planned with a number of large European Carriers and Operators.

“The combination of ATM, IMA and IP technologies is a perfect fit for many of our prospects, said Ian Betteridge, Sales and Marketing Director for Mariner Networks Europe.

“It provides the low cost needed to meet the requirements of the remote and branch office environment, while delivering the performance needed to roll-out broadband services.”
