Potevio makes its debut at Gitex

A new Middle East-China networking joint venture participated in Gitex this year. The firm, Potevio Middle East and North Africa (MENA), is a partnership between Chinese state-owned Potevio and Saudi Arabian investors.

Potevio has product lines covering the entire range of service provider and enterprise networking needs. It is also a major player in the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) space, producing handsets for global vendors such as Nokia.

“Of every nine phones produced worldwide, three are produced in China; of those three, Potevio produces around 1.2,” said Alie Hussein Saad, CEO of Potevio MENA.
