Systimax eyes bigger profile

Structured connectivity solutions vendor Systimax has opened a ‘Solutions Centre’ in Dubai — one of only three such centres in the entire EMEA region.

Systimax hopes the centre will raise its profile in the Middle East and strengthen its relationships with channel partners.

The facility will give the company’s partners a place to learn about the end-to-end connectivity solutions — including copper, fibre, patching and wireless offerings — that it believes will enable clients to increase productivity and smooth the way for reliable migration to next generation IT requirements.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about industry trends and technical standards.”

Wes Tweedley, regional technical director at New Yorklisted Systimax — a recognised IP communications partner within Cisco’s Technology Developer Programme — said: “Our primary audience is consultants and end users, but their information requirements are quite different.

Consultants are more concerned about trends, current industry issues and the development of technical standards.

End users, on the other hand, will ultimately focus on the commercial proposition, especially their return on investment,” he added.
