UTS Carrier looks to chill out UTS Carrier looks to chill out with G3 AC range

UTS Carrier, a joint venture between UTS and Carrier Corporation, has launched G3, its third generation series of window-mounted air conditioners in the UAE.

The G3 air conditioners are equipped with an energy efficiency ratio (EER) of 8.2, which the company claims ensures a 10% reduction in energy consumption when compared with other air conditioners in the market.

The new air conditioner boasts low-noise, four-in-one filter technology, four-way air distribution and a water drip-free system. It is powered by a high ambient rotary compressor. UTS Carrier claims the filter technology defuses negative ions, which magnetically attracts pollutants such as dust, smog, human and animal dander, smoke and allergens.

“The filter system eliminates bacteria, dust mites, and potentially harmful pollutants and chemicals,” claimed Imad Richani, business unit manager, UTS Carrier, UAE. “It removes bad odours, smoke and domestic smells.”

UTS Carrier claims the G3 range’s water drip-free system improves overall performance by spraying condensate water on to the condenser coil. The company claims the system can prevent water from dripping in ambient conditions of up to 70% relative humidity.
