3i Infotech wins deal from STC

LEADING Islamic insurance firm in Kuwait is to implement a new integrated insurance management system to help automate its business.

Al Safat Takaful Company (STC), a subsidiary of Al Safwa Group, has announced it has selected Premia from 3i Infotech to automate its general and nonlife insurance business.

“Our aim is to become one of Kuwait’s leading Takaful companies in the next few years and to support our aggressive growth plans, we were looking for an innovative insurance risk solution,” said AbdulAziz Al- Mansoor, chairman and managing director, STC.

“3i Infotech’s Premia met our criteria for a customised enterprise management solution that can help improve business efficiency and enhance our services to clients,” he added.

Premia is a complete online enterprise management solution that enables real time access to financial and business information. One of the reasons for its selection was to provide seamless integration across all major heads of insurance activity, as well as faster interaction and greater convenience of transaction processing. It also has a layered security infrastructure that restricts unauthorised access by controlling access to menus and functions.
