Mobile phone giant Nokia is to start shipping its high-end N95 in the region during the coming weeks.

Mobile phone giant Nokia is to start shipping its high-end N95 in the region during the coming weeks.

The handset is also to be shipped to key European and Asian markets, but is not yet available in the US.

The N95 is described as an all-in-one multimedia computer with a two-way slide design, integrated GPS functionality, a five megapixel camera and support for high-speed mobile networks.

Part of Nokia's Nseries of phones, it offers a range of services, such as allowing users to watch and record videos, listen to music, take photos, browse the internet and check e-mail.

Designed for high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) networks and with support for WLAN, Edge and WCDMA networks, the phone has excellent coverage and connection speeds, according to the company.

The N95 runs Nokia's Symbian S60 operating system, which is compatible with a wide range of mobile applications.
