BREAKING NEWS :

itp.net Trend Micro Middle East Security Survey 2008

ends on Sunday, 12 October 2008

Can you tell between a phishing attempt and 419 fraud? Do you know the difference between a botnet and a zombie? In short – do you know the dangers that are waiting for you every time you go online, or that are lurking in your inbox?

itp.net has joined up with leading global content security provider Trend Micro to assess what Middle East end users know about online security, and more importantly, what steps they are taking to protect themselves from web security threats.

But to do so we are asking your help – we need you to complete our online security survey, so that we can compile a picture of what threats are of concern to users in the region, how much people know about web threats, and whether or not they know what to do about them. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete, and we are offering a great prize draw for Middle East users that help by filling in the survey.

Once we’ve finished gathering the responses to the survey, we will publishing the results online, to give the first broad-base picture of security awareness and readiness among IT users in the Middle East.

This survey has ended and no more entries are being accepted.
