AEG Live Middle East presents The Stranglers Live In Concert in Dubai on 3rd October 2008 at The Irish Village.

With 42 top 40 hits spanning over 4 decades, Sony and EMI have joined forces to release an ultimate collection of the Stranglers works aptly entitled ‘FORTYTWOFORTY’ to be released this year and incorporating a TV, radio and Press campaign unrivalled in the bands 24 year career.

First forming in 1974 the bands straight talking approach gave them the reputation as aggressive and confrontational with their notoriety later embraced by the punk movement of 77. This led to their debut single 'Grip' and their legendary first album Rattus Norvegicus.  This was followed by such hits as ‘Peaches’, ‘No More Heroes’, ‘5 Minutes’, ‘Duchess’, ‘Something Better Change’, ‘Always the Sun’ and their ultimate classic ‘Golden Brown’.
