wateen has been a big flop. now they new wi-tribe will have a nice competition with worldcall evdo which is rapidly expanding its service specially in urban parts of the country
I am using e pehla form evision and i am payin 160 dhs per month for the same . after paying suhc a huge amount also, i do not get any channel of my own place -kolkata out here. this is where dish tv is advantageous a sit provides somthing for everyone . I think the e vision authorities should look into this and try to bring in alteast one channel of all the major languages spoken in india and not conenctrate only on one particular place. Also, the price charged is huge compared to any other international city's.
I agree that promotion, PR and events is needed to any company to show and emphasis it's image + success stories in the region
Although its very good move by Qtel but still they have to compete WATEEN and PTCL. So the current packages offered by WiTribe are very expensive as compared to WATEEN so no one is going to buy WiTribe when WATEEN with good reputation and cheap packages.
I hope soon we will be able to develop such computers in Middle East. That will be a real technological leap for us; from being a User to be a Producer.
This is very good move by the Qtel to penetrate in the new market of pakistan where the market has a good scope for the telecome sector. the company should concentrate to catter the remote areas of pakistan as well beside the major citties of pakistan. this is realy a welocoming move toward the internet accessability regarding the wireless broadband.
for a windows mobile phone, is it just me or is the phone pricey? I think Android has much more potential and HTC ME should consider attacking that part of the customer base. Althougha i guess business users would still wanna get their on hands on a slow but yet powerful windows mobile.
Nielsen and all other traditional research providers have been resting on their laurels for the last 5 years or so when the advertising industry needed them the most. The only reason why Nielsen are rolling in town all guns blazing is simply because they have been overtaken by non-traditional research and intelligence providers that are more committed to the GCC and the Middle East and have long deployed research and intelligence tools. Nielsen is rolling AdRelevance in the next two years??? Who will subscribe to their competitive intelligence service knowing that most of the industry is already using an alternative service with data that spans back to 2007? Too little too late. They would do the industry a better service to introduce TV People Meters in the GCC where most of the ad spend is still taking place rather than trying to fragment a still small online ad market.
It is a question rather than a comment .. when will be this model available in Egypt
