Justin Doo claims Sphere Network's confidence in IT market is backed up by its staff recruitment drive.

Dubai-based networking managed solutions firm, Sphere Networks, has been busy strengthening its staff base with the addition of three new members to its team.

The hirings all come under the sales division of the firm and include Nisar Khan, who previously worked at Trend Micro for seven years developing its channel and customer base. According to Sphere Networks Khan is a veteran of the Middle East IT market, with strong business connections and channel understanding.

Khan takes responsibility for the partner engagement, sales strategy and customer satisfaction of Sphere Networks in the Middle East.

“This is a unique opportunity for all of us,” said Khan. “Sphere Networks is founded in the Middle East, funded in the Middle East and are fully focused on creating a significant install base within the Middle East.”

The local nature of Sphere Networks is an important aspect of its strategy that Khan is keen to emphasise.

“Because we all have grown in this region,” continued Khan, “we are fully aware of what it will take to take Sphere Networks to the next level — the cultural and regional sensitivities that must be factored in.”

Also joining Sphere Networks are Brian Donegan and Haytham Bennani, both to sales and pre-sales roles and the pair are charged with increasing channel engagement and customer support.

Justin Doo, VP for sales and marketing at Sphere Networks, is positive that bringing on board the right resources is a way to increase the company’s exposure and market reach.

“This is an extremely exciting time for Sphere Networks, we are building out a team of highly motivated professionals,” said Doo. “The fact that we are recruiting in this current climate demonstrates the confidence we all have in both the markets and our technology.”
