Motorola launches support suite for IPTV deployment

Motorola has announced a suite of services that will make it easier for service providers to design, deploy and integrate Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) systems.

Known as the Motorola IPTV Ecosystem Integration and Support Service, the solution can be tailored specifically to the needs of each provider to offer more streamlined operations and cost benefits.

“The integration of products and platforms from different vendors is a major challenge for service providers and operators moving into the IPTV market,” said Michael Laraia, senior director, Customer Program Operations and Professional Services, Home & Networks Mobility, Motorola.

“Motorola’s IPTV Ecosystem Integration and Support Service is focused on tailoring IPTV systems to the unique business needs of each service provider. It’s another layer of expertise that our leadership in IP video technologies allows us to offer our customers, from design to deployment and management,” Laraia added.

Connexion Technologies in the United States recently integrated the IPTV Ecosystem suite to create a single point of interface in its rollout of IPTV services to customers.
