UAE Ministry of Social Affairs and du sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the online initiative.

A web portal for all non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the United Arab Emirates will soon be established.

The UAE Ministry of Social Affairs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with du for the online initiative. The website is part of the telecom operator’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program to create sustainable and economically empowering initiatives.

Aside from providing information on all the NGOs in the country, the site will also present volunteering opportunities and feature important developments in the sector.

“We are proud to be contributing to this initiative by creating an interactive web portal for the Ministry, utilizing our technical expertise to enable the NGOs to communicate effectively. This invaluable tool will enable NGOs to support nation-building efforts and community building,” said Osman Sultan, CEO, du.
