BREAKING NEWS :

JBS awarded Cisco Silver

By Julian Pletts on Wednesday, July 02, 2008

Systems integrator Jordan Business Systems (JBS) has achieved silver certification in the Cisco Channel Partner Programme.

To earn this distinction Cisco says that JBS - part of the Middle East Data Systems group - had to meet and surpass the stringent personnel, training, customer satisfaction, specialisation and post-sales support requirements set forth by the vendor.

"With specialisations in advanced unified communication, security, wireless, routing and switching and CRM express, JBS has secured the training, skills and knowledge to play a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of Cisco technology solutions," said Nabil Rizkallah, regional channel sales manager for North Africa and Levant channels at Cisco.

"We are committed to creating the tools, training and programmes that help drive channel partner profitability through improved productivity and return on invested capital," added Rizkallah.

According to the vendor, teams of Cisco certified partners are audited annually to ensure they are consistent in their delivery of support and that they maintain a high-level of network expertise.

Emad Suwan, JBS' general manager, revealed that Cisco's evaluation was based on several measurements assessing the complexity and volume of projects awarded to the integrator. As a silver certified partner JBS can now enjoy access to the Cisco customer satisfaction tool the Partner Access Online portal (PAL), which is based on technology that Cisco uses to monitor and improve the satisfaction levels of its own customers.
