ITWorx to unveil brand new telecoms solution

By ITP.net staff writer on Wednesday, August 01, 2007

The self-proclaimed largest professional software services company in Egypt, ITWorx, will unveil a major new telecommunications solution at GITEX Business Solutions, in addition to announcing the opening of two new regional offices.

"In September we will launch ‘platiNUM,' a key addition to our existing family of product solutions," claims Hafez Hamdy, the firm's Middle East and Africa sales manager.

"Focused on the telco sector, which is currently one of our primary vertical markets, this is a metallic number platform that enables mobile phone operators to identify and then sell metallic numbers online," he says. "The solution will help operators leverage their range of numbers to acquire new subscribers, minimise churn and generate further revenue."

ITWorx does its business in North America, Europe, and the Middle East, however it is this latter region that Hamdy claims is by far the most exciting region at present.

"The Middle East is amongst the fastest growing regions in the world in terms of ICT adoption," he comments. "Last year we celebrated the launch of our Saudi office, now this year we'll give details of new offices in Dubai and Qatar."

As Hamdy asserts, the growth of the ICT market in this region is taking place across a number of vertical markets, and ITWorx is positioning itself as the leading vendor in these. "The recent emphasis on e-government and e-learning, and the huge expansion of the telco and banking sectors here, have really fuelled the demand for our services," Hamdy suggests.
