Ericsson appoints Alloni as VP and head of ops ME

Alloni will oversee Ericsson's operations in the region and ensure customer expectations are met; he previously held the role of president at Ericsson, North East Africa

Ericsson has appointed Carlo Alloni as its new executive VP and head of operations in the Middle East.

Alloni will oversee operations across the Middle East and ensure that Ericsson's customer expectations are met, while also enabling the development of best practice tools and methods in the region.

Anders Lindblad, president of Ericsson Middle East region, said: "Successful network operation is key to our customers' success and plays a vital role in driving Ericsson's technology and services leadership and with Carlo Alloni we have the right person to lead this work combining sales, strategy and operational experience." 

Alloni previously held the position of president, Ericsson, North East Africa, a role to which he was appointed in 2010.
