MEEZA has been presented with an award at the Arab Achievement Awards, marking it as the “Leader in IT” in the Arab World.
The awards, which are intended to recognize people and organizations that have excelled in their professions over the previous year, were held as part of the Arab Investment Summit, which took place in Abu Dhabi last week.
MEEZA was established to provide essential IT support to Qatar’s development process in close alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030. The company won the award after becoming the first IT services and solutions provider in Qatar to be awarded with the ISO 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 certificates.
Jean-Philippe Sohier, chief marketing officer, MEEZA, said: “The prestigious Arab Achievements Awards has become the premier awards ceremony across the entire region. The event recognizes industry leaders and organizations that have excelled over the past year. MEEZA understands the importance of this award as it positions us on the top of the IT scene in the region. This award will add to our responsibilities as we are keen on maintaining our position as the leader of IT services and solutions in Qatar and the Middle East.”
