Celframe is aiming to make a splash at GITEX Technology Week by showcasing a range of products, including Celframe Office 2008, which is positioned as an alternative application to Microsoft Office.
As part of Celframe's participation at GITEX, the company will be giving away copies of Celframe Office 2008 in addition to the yet-to-be launched Celframe CRM 2008.
"This offer is a way for Celframe to express to its customers that, during hard times, we are here to help. We are going to offer huge discounts to all companies during this turbulent period. We hope that our software stimulus will help rekindle businesses worldwide. I personally hope that other software companies also follow our example and help our country. We are very proud that we will begin this free offer during GITEX 2009," says Arun Pudur, President and CTO of Celframe.
Celframe will also be launching and showcasing Celframe CRM 2.0 and Celframe Ookey for the Middle Eastern market. The company will also display other products from its suite, such as Business Go Live 2008, HR Care and Employment Ads 2008, Instant Sales and Marketing 2009 and Celframe Transcarta 2008.
Eliena Raj, Vice President of Celframe, says that the economic challenges currently facing the world economy has brought many small and medium companies to reconsider purchasing software and hardware, and evaluate their IT expenditure.
"Currently Microsoft Office Standard 2007 is being sold for US$400 and if a company is planning to buy just one application, as in just Microsoft Word, they would need to purchase it for US$230 without forgetting the hardware upgrade they have to undertake," she claims. "Then enterprise-class CRM can cost anywhere upwards of US$20,000. Understanding this, Celframe Office Small Business Edition 2008 and Celframe CRM 2008 is being offered free for 20,000 companies. Furthermore, Celframe Office can work on Pentium 3 so no hardware upgrade is needed and CRM is web based and can work anywhere," says Raj.During the exhibition, Celframe will also offer gifts for all ‘walk-ins', 50% off orders made during GITEX and ‘bonanza' prizes such as a 50-inch Plasma TV, Mac Book Air and a 32GB iPod Touch.
