A healthy and prospering building industry over the past few years has helped drive the region’s economy, create myriad new building and, in turn, lay the groundwork for a boom in the facilities management sector.

Since the launch of facilities management Middle East in September 2006, the FM industry has witnessed several international and home-grown companies enter the market; the appointment of more internal FMs than ever before; and the birth of a new law (Strata Law) that is set to change the market once again.

While the construction sector continues to develop, build and launch signature buildings throughout the region, those properties lacking that signature stamp can be overlooked.
