Nomination Process
The annual Digital Studio Awards are open to individuals, companies and organisations working in the Middle East. Entry for the Digital Studio Awards 2011 must be completed online through this website up until the closing date of Wednesday 15th December 2011.
General criteria and conditions
- All nominations must be submitted online through this website
- Nominations must be in English.
- Nominations must be clearly and succinctly written, and remain within the submission guidelines.
- Nominations should deal in grounded and supported statements with supporting facts and figures.
- Only work that has been completed in the 12 months prior to January 2011 can be nominated for an award
- Nominations should relate to work completed within the Middle East region. For the purposes of these awards, this includes: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE, Yemen.
- Digital Studio shall have the right to verify the information provided in each submission if required. Nominations must include contact details for nominator and nominee to facilitate this. Nominations without this information will be discounted.
- Nominations will be accepted in good faith and, notwithstanding any attempts to verify claims made in nominations, will be treated as true and accurate.
- Submission of an online nomination indicates acceptance of the conditions of entry.
- In the event of any disputes or issues the decision made by the group editor of the Broadcast Group shall be deemed final. The organisers will not be obliged to justify their decisions or enter into any correspondence.
- Nominations received will be circulated to the judging panel. It may also be used in Digital Studio – in print, online or both – as the basis of a case study, as a standalone article, or part of an awards feature.
- Representatives from the nominated company/person must be available on the night of the awards.
