Awarded to an operator for a particularly innovative or successful service that has been launched in the last year.

Overall Operator of the Year
Awarded to the one operator that has stood out from all the rest, either in a specific field or across a number of disciplines.

Middle East Mobile Operator of the Year
Recognises the mobile operator with origins in the Middle East that has continued to develop and improve its mobile services while growing penetration rates and improving the customer experience.

African Mobile Operator of the Year
Recognises the mobile operator with origins in Africa that has continued to develop and improve its mobile services while growing penetration rates and improving the customer experience.

Most Innovative Non-Voice Service
As operators seek to increase the contribution made from non-voice communications, this award recognises the operator that has developed a non-voice service application that has gained substantial acceptance in the market and has made a significant contribution to service revenues.

Telecoms Technology Investment of the Year
Recognises an operator that has not only invested a substantial sum in technology but also ensured that its investment has delivered a return for both the organisation and its customers.
