International Speaker Faculty and Call for Presentations
To compliment our International Guest speakers we wish to invite suitably qualified personnel and experts to present papers at the Conference.

You are invited to submit technical papers for presentation at the Conference on "Information Transport Systems - the Convergence Revolution" and for publication in the BICSI 2006 proceedings. Your submissions should address new networking technologies and innovative developments, applications and problem solving as it relates to the existing and emerging information transport systems environments.

The topics of the presentations will be from among the following areas:
· Emerging Technologies
· Internet and Intranet
· Wireless
· Fiber Optic Technology
· Security
· CCTV
· High Speed Networking Technologies
· Networking and Cabling Standards and Issues
· LAN, WAN, MAN, Internetworking
· Premises Wiring and Cabling Concerns

· Status and Direction: DSL, SONET, ISDN
· Electrical Considerations for Telecommunications
· Architectural Considerations
· VoIP

Call for Presentations
There are opportunities to present a paper at the 5th Annual BICSI Conference. To submit a paper please read the information below and follow the simple instructions.

Conditions and Requirements for Presentations
All presentations must be 30 minutes in duration and will be followed by a 5 minute Q & A. Strict adherence to the time schedule will be maintained. The presentation format may be slides, video, or computer projection. Overhead transparencies are not permitted.

Presentations must be strictly generic, universal, and non-commercial. Presentations of a marketing nature or those containing specific product demonstrations are not acceptable. The official language of the conference is English.

All submissions must adhere to the following timetable:
Initial submission of presentation brief (maximum 500 words) must be submitted by April 15th 2006. A submission must include a speaker biography and picture. Successful candidates will be informed by Thursday 20th April 2006.

Complete presentations in Word and PowerPoint presentation to be received by Thursday 11th May 2006.

Please note that accepted papers will be placed on the BICSI web site within 30 days after the conference. Successful presenters grant unrestricted permission to the conference committee to record, duplicate, translate, and distribute copies of the presentation. The conference registration fee is waived if your presentation is accepted.
