Components Vendor of the Year
The thriving components market remains a major focus area for many distributors and resellers operating in the Middle East. The Components Vendor of the Year award will recognise the components vendor that has made a significant contribution to the development of the regional channel over the past year. The award will acknowledge the vendor’s commitment to supporting the channel and facilitating the success of partners.

Networking Vendor of the Year
With infrastructure investments in the region continuing to rise, networking vendors are building sophisticated partner networks to capture the opportunities on offer. This award goes to the networking vendor that has shown a noteworthy commitment to channel growth through their business development activities, product portfolio, partner programmes and service and support.

Peripherals Vendor of the Year
The Peripherals Vendor of the Year award will be presented to the company that has made a real difference to the channel and shown a strong commitment to growing their indirect business. With peripherals becoming an increasingly competitive market sector, this accolade will recognise the strategic moves that the vendor has made to support its partners and encourage profitable business.

Printing and Consumables Vendor of the Year
This award will be given to the printing and consumables vendor adjudged to have made a noteworthy contribution to the channel in terms of business development, product portfolio, channel programmes and service. The printing sector continues to develop at a rapid pace and this award will therefore honour the vendor who has been working hard to ensure their partners have the skills and support they need to succeed.

Software Vendor of the Year
An effective channel strategy is necessary for success in the software space, which is why the Software Vendor of the Year award will be administered to the vendor that has demonstrated a clear focus to empower their partners and introduce effective programmes to drive growth within the channel. This category is open to vendors selling any form of software (e.g. office, enterprise, security, storage).

Systems and Hardware Vendor of the Year
The Systems Hardware Vendor of the Year will be presented to the vendor that has demonstrated a commitment to driving channel growth through their business development activities, partner initiatives, product range and support. This category includes all types of systems hardware not included in any other category (e.g. PCs, notebooks, servers, displays, security/storage appliances).

Security Vendor of the Year
The Security Vendor of the Year reflects the vendor that has demonstrated a commitment to driving channel growth through their business development activities, partner initiatives, training, product breadth and support. This category includes security software solution and security hardware appliances.

Tablet & Smartphones Vendor of the Year
This award goes to the vendor that has shown a remarkable promise to channel growth and development by providing innovative mobile devices and wearable gadgets to help partners meet the growing demand for mobile computing.

 

CHANNEL AWARDS

Distributor of the Year (Broad line products)
The Distributor of the Year award will recognise outstanding achievement in the field of distribution. The award is open to all distribution companies that have shown commendable success in terms of sales volume, logistical ability, reseller support, market expansion or any other action deserved of recognition.

Value Added Distributor of the Year
This award will go to the company that has achieved excellence in providing value added services. The award is open to all VADs that have made a noteworthy contribution to the channel, be it through their product specialisation, technical capabilities, reseller services, market development assistance or any other action that warrants recognition.

Retail Distributor of the Year
The award is aimed at recognising a distributor that has made a significant contribution to the retail channel. The award takes into account the distributor’s achievements in advancing , supporting and growing the retail sector in the Middle East region.

 

System Integrator of the Year
System integrator awards honour excellence and innovation in the delivery of IT solutions to end-user customers in the enterprise or SMB segment.

Power Retailer of the Year
This award recognises the IT and consumer electronics retailer that has done the most to build the quality of retail experience and customer relations in the region. The award is open to all consumer electronics retailers that have made great strides in increasing presence in key markets across the region.

SMB Reseller of the Year
This award recognises excellence in the delivery of solutions and services to SMB and SOHO customers, including initiatives to win medium-sized customers, dedicated SMB, SME and SOHO solutions and support.

Training Provider of the Year
The award recognises an authorised IT training provider that is advancing skills development in the regional channel and IT industry. In addition, the award pays tribute to the provider’s commitment in helping the broader IT sector with quality (online and instructor-led classroom style) training programmes.

EDITOR’S CHOICE AWARD

Channel Executive of the Year (no nominations)
This Editor’s Choice Award pays tribute to the individual that has given exceptional service to the regional IT channel over the past 12 months and has shown commendable dedication to their profession, contributed to the channel success of their company and overall regional channel.
