RSA is to launch a specialist service designed to protect companies from high-level malware attacks.

The FraudActionSM Anti-Trojan service will be launched next month, aimed at helping companies secure their organisations from session-hijacking Trojans, keyloggers and malware that are used by criminals to obtain personal and financial information from consumers.

RSA said the service is designed to provide a proactive layered approach to deal with financial crimeware.

According to RSA, 82% of users are less likely to respond to e-mails from their bank because of security concerns.

As banks step up their own security measures, fraudsters have responded with more sophisticated attacks, making a service such as the RSA one necessary, the firm claimed. Marc Gaffan, director of marketing and consumer solutions at RSA said: “RSA is clearly in a strong position to offer the industry’s first proactive and holistic anti-Trojan service.”
