Abu Dhabi National Industry Projects Company (ADNIP) is deploying 3i Infotech’s Orion enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to support its growth objectives.

The solution, which replaces an in-house application, will help ADNIP achieve smooth progress integration and visibility across its operations, 3i Infotech said.

ADNIP currently has four businesses in industries ranging from medical equipment to consultancy and the firm is looking to establish further business units.

“We aim to improve and enhance Abu Dhabi’s industrial sector, where we have a number of new projects in the pipeline, and for this we were looking for an ERP solution to assist in streamlining our operations and consolidate information flow,” Samir Ramadan, CEO at ADNIP, stated.

“With Orion we hope to achieve effective control of our manufacturing processes and growth by enhancing productivity while reducing total cost of operations,” he added.

3i Infotech won the US$272,000 contract thanks to its thorough understanding of the industries ADNIP operates in, Kalpesh Desai, 3i Infotech chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) told IT Weekly. He said benefits of Orion included minute tracking of consumables, expenses, overheads and resources.
