E-commerce key, says Tejari boss

E-commerce is key to accelerating trade between China and the Middle East, Omar Hijazi, CEO of Middle East business-to-business marketplace Tejari said.

Speaking on the theme of e-commerce at the China Internet Conference 2006 in Beijing, Hijazi told delegates that the internet has become a powerful tool to new markets.

“The trading relationship between China and the Middle East, and with Dubai specifically, has never been stronger,” Hijazi said at the event.
