Internet filtering vendor SurfControl has launched a partner scheme designed to deliver products and solutions more tightly integrated with the vendor’s technology.

The Global Alliance Partner Programme offers four levels for participation: technology partner, strategic alliance, OEM and system integrators.

“By working with SurfControl, partners can ensure they are providing the most complete and secure product offering with the highest level of value for customers,” said Rocco Donnino, vice president of business development at SurfControl.

The scheme was launched earlier this month and has received endorsement from a number of high-profile vendors that work with SurfControl.

“Juniper Networks has a long established alliance with SurfControl, which enables us to offer premium web filtering technology on our application-aware network security solutions,” said Sanjay Beri, director of product management at Juniper Networks.

Todd Greenberg, group product manager for security and access products at Microsoft, added that customers appreciated the range of security and access options provided by the integration of Microsoft with ISVs like SurfControl.
