Taj TV recently entered into an agreement with Citruss TV. According to the deal, Taj TV will transmit Citruss TV from its Dubai facility and also provide studio facilities for the Arabic language channel.

Citruss TV is a shopping network in the Middle East that produces its shows in-house and currently broadcasts only in Arabic. "Taj TV is perfect for us, as it provides state-of-the art transmission and studio facilities as well as highly trained staff," says Michael Trüschler, director of Citruss TV. "This enables us to efficiently produce our shopping shows and deal with all technical requirements under one roof," he adds.

Citruss also uses Taj TV for scheduling support and is part of a growing business for the Dubai based operation. Taj TV transmits two channels for Showtime, Prime Sports for ART, Cricket Plus for Directv in North America as well as its own three sports channels branded under Ten Sports. The Taj TV studios are used by a variety of channels for programmes that range from sport to entertainment.

Speaking about Taj TV's plans, CEO, Chris McDonald says: "We are continually expanding and updating our facility in order to offer clients a wide variety of technical solutions."
