Xerox Emirates has been appointed by the Resolution Graphic Centre in Sharjah to outfit its new copy centre.

Xerox will provide the centre with the equipment necessary to provide services to its customers in Sharjah, the third largest emirate in the UAE, supplying products that will include its high quality digital printer DocuColor 250.

“Our aim is to provide the Resolution Graphics Centre and the public with the most cost effective colour solutions in Sharjah,” Andrew Hurt, general manager, Xerox said in a statement.

One of the reasons that Resolution, a unit of Sinagate International, opted for Xerox was because of its reputation for supplying high quality digital colour, Hurt told IT Weekly.

“Xerox is going to major on the colour and it is recognised that we lead in terms of providing the highest quality digital colour output in the market,” Hurt said.

“The other reason that they chose Xerox is that, if you are in the print-for-pay market place, you are providing a service around the clock to your clients. So uptime and reliability of equipment is very important. And obviously, the premium for Xerox is justified in terms of the after sale service and support that we can provide,” he said.
