The CEO of LANDesk Software has endorsed the company's relationship with its exclusive Expert Solution Provider (ESP) in the region, Intertec Systems, after recently visiting the Middle East.

Joe Wang, who touched down in Dubai to discuss the Business Process Automation market, said it would continue to rely on Intertec to spearhead its activities in the region: "The Arabian Gulf is among the fastest growing economic regions of the world today. We are certain that with an active partner like Intertec Systems, it would not be difficult for LANDesk to make best use of business opportunities here."

LANDesk has recently introduced its Process Manager 3.0, an advanced BPM engine and a change management solution. The product is designed to enable firms to automate manual processes as well as manage small or large scale changes. "Organisations are now moving from a tool-only mindset to automating and proactively managing processes to deliver greater business value." said Wang. "We see a huge opportunity for BPA in this region."

LANDesk - which used to be owned by Intel until it was sold to venture capitalist firms four years ago - uses UAE-based Intertec to target customers in sectors such as banking and government.
