CASIO moves to transform projector solutions channel Naka says CASIO want to cement its business in the education, hospitality, healthcare and corporate vertical.

CASIO Middle East, has said that it is rolling out channel initiatives aimed at helping its systems integrator partners in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to transform their businesses in the projection solutions segment.

The channel initiatives come in the wake of the company's continued efforts to develop its mercury free advanced and ultra-short throw projectors in the education and audio-visual segment in the region.

Koji Naka, managing director, CASIO Middle East, said supporting systems integrators in developing, implementing plans and projects to include best solutions with the ultimate quality they can provide to their end user customers is a key focus for the company in the MENA channel.

Naka said CASIO has decided to transform its projection solutions business in the regional channel to ensure that systems integrators enjoy improved profit margins. "We believe that supporting our partners is crucial to mutually grow our business. We are running several programmes and partner initiatives with our partners that focus on delivering the best solutions for each and every project in the pipeline," he said.

He said CASIO's aim is to unlock the challenges for each project and to leverage value through products that can seamlessly be integrated into end-to-end solutions, enhance business productivity for business partners and improve their profit margin. "We are capitalising on our current technology that decrease the cost of after sales maintenance that our partner might incur under the service agreement with their customers or as after-sales technical support," he said.

Naka said because the company works closely with different types of system integrators, it is important to provide the value to both IT and AV channel partners. We do seek other kinds of engagement with system integrators on project-basis, however, we do have strong ties with IT and AV focused system integrators because our products have proven to be successful add on to their business.

CASIO said it want to develop and cement it projector business in the education (government and private schools, and universities), corporate (public sector and private entities), hospitality and the healthcare sector.
