Consensys, Dubai's official Blockchain City Advisor, will offer a course covering Ethereum blockchain to support the One Million Arab Coders initiative.

The twelve-week course will help develop proficiency in blockchain.

ConsenSys will cover the $1,000 cost of the program for a selected pool of tutors with proven expertise and certify 1,000 participants on the blockchain track.

One Million Arab Coders is an initiative by the Dubai Future Foundation, designed to equip young Arabs with coding skills and education. The program aims to give young Arab developers the skills they need to develop careers in technology.

Lina Hediah, Director, ConsenSys MENA commented: "As a venture production studio and blockchain software development company, we understand the shortage of developers in this space and are committed to helping build the next-generation of Arabs through learning and development of blockchain technology.

"By providing the Arab world with access to programming courses and high-level expertise, we are empowering the participants, both students and tutors, with a skillset imperative to the successful technological transformation of Dubai and the region, thus making a significant impact," Hediah added.
