Abu Dhabi government shows GIS expertise at Esri conference Dr Rauda Saeed Al Saadi addressed the Esri user conference.

Twenty-seven government entities from Abu Dhabi are participating in the 2018 International Esri User Conference.

The Esri user conference, taking place in the US, brings together around 15,000 participants specialised in the field of geographic information systems (GIS).

The Abu Dhabi Smart Systems and Services Authority (ADSSSA), the government entity overseeing the ICT agenda in the UAE capital, organized and managed the government entities' participation at the event.

Dr Rauda Saeed Al Saadi, Director General of ADSSSA, showcased Abu Dhabi's comprehensive use and expertise in advanced geographic information systems, and how government is using GIS to develop businesses and services and to support decision-making process in various sectors through high quality and accurate geospatial data.

Al Saadi showcased Abu Dhabi's TAMM system, as one of the models of integration between geographic data systems and the field of government services.

The Authority is showcasing the Abu Dhabi Spatial Data Infrastructure, a project which facilitates the sharing and exchange of geo-spatial data among government entities in various sectors using innovative solutions and technologies to enrich the customer's experience.
