TP-Link Technologies Co Ltd, a provider of SOHO, SMB networking products, wireless LAN solutions and mobile devices, has recently hosted two events in Oman and Abu Dhabi with Ethos Technologies, to showcase latest product and solutions offerings.

TP-Link used the two events outline a new SMB strategy for the market and how it can engage systems integrators in together with distribution partner Ethos Technologies.

Lucas Jiang, general manager, TP-Link MEA FZE, said demand for high performing business networking solutions is increasing in the SMB sector across the Middle East and that's why the company organised these events with partners.

"From last two events we have received  more than 100 partner applications interested in registering for the TP-Link Network Associate (TPNA) programme, which is a good number to kick start another this course and TP-Link Network Professional (TPNP) training and certification exams for Q2," he said. "Our TPNA and TPNP training programme are designed to help and educate network professionals with advanced network and wireless concepts, and be certified with the latest skills, tools and best practices. Along with this, we will strengthen our development in the hospitality, education and corporate sector.

Jiang said the company will be hosting a similar partner event in Dubai soon, where TP-Link will outline the business strategy, introduce system integrators to the new product portfolio and share insights on how partners can grow their business in the SMB market. "The Dubai event will act as a platform where we will also hear their feedback and what needs to be improved upon," he said.

Despite the current prevailing market conditions, partners have continued to grow the TP-Link brand, business and their own businesses. "We are hoping the joint TP-Link partner event will kick start our SMB agenda for the year ahead for all channel partners and SMB focused SIs in MEA.

Jiang added that alongside this event, TP-Link will also be outlining its roadmap for 2018 to partners and how the company will work closely with Ethos Technologies to develop the business and grow the SMB share in the region.
