Al Khaleej Sugar turns to SAP HANA for digital transformation Al Khaleej Sugar has rolled out SAP HANA as part of a major technology refresh.

Al Khaleej Sugar has deployed SAP HANA to achieve higher levels of operational efficiency and productivity with reduced downtime.

The Dubai sugar refinery has rolled out SAP HANA to replace its legacy technology infrastructure, and the project included a complete hardware and database refresh.

The deployment was carried out by Fujitsu, who will also provide a six-year service agreement. Fujitsu delivered an integrated end-to-end solution to meet the requirements of Al Khaleej Sugar. The technology upgrade supports the digital transformation aspirations of the company while addressing its technology infrastructure needs, in order to support its ongoing growth.

Fujitsu provided hardware mapped for optimum performance with the SAP Application Performance Standard) report (SAPS), and identified the technology improvements needed to support the best performance and high availability with low latency and reduced downtime. The upgrade enhances the efficiency of staff and boosts all-round productivity through the tailored solution, which was implemented with the support of ISYX Technologies.
