One-third of all organisations in the region say they are not well set up to include talent with AI skillsets, according to a survey conducted by specialist recruitment consultancy Michael Page Middle East.

The survey of 200 respondents from Michael Page's digital and technology community in the UAE and Saudi Arabia found that half of all organisations are engaged with AI technology, and 80% believe that AI will have an impact on their industry.

The survey also included data, and showed a similar shortfall in data skills. Sixty-seven percent of respondents said that their organisation understands the value of quality data. However, 26% said that their organisation does not have sufficient manpower and infrastructure to support the capture, management and use of data.
