New Frontier AlJammaz says the company restructured its operations last year to be able to provide complete solutions to partners.

"We restructured our operations last year to be able to provide complete solutions and address customers problems by creating business unit in different areas," said AlJammaz. "These include Data Centres, IoT and Connectivity, SMB, Collaboration and Wireless, Cloud and Digital Distribution, Infrastructure and Test Systems, Cyber Security, Physical Security and, Retail and Consumers business units."

He added that the company saw a very good improvement in business in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries in 2017 compared to 2016.

"We have seen that a lot of channel partners have been able to solve most of their credit issues and payment collection which is a very positive sign for a great year ahead as we start 2018," he noted.

After over a decade at the helm of one of the most influential IT VADs in Saudi Arabia, AlJammaz is quick to point out that navigating market transitions - and emerging from them not just unscathed, but stronger - has for some time been key to Al Jammaz Distribution's success in the regional channel.

"In Al Jammaz Distribution, we don't resist market changes since we understand how technology changes fast and can disrupt the existing business," he said. "We will always transform, adapt and enable new technologies than resist as that adds value to our longevity in the regional market."

He explained that the company has been pretty good at getting these market transitions right. "It doesn't mean we underestimate the challenges and opportunities, but this is how Al Jammaz Distribution has always approached these areas," he said.
