No stranger to change, Al Jammaz Distribution president Asim Saud AlJammaz has been through market transitions before. But the rapid shift to software-defined solutions and cloud is a transition that is in direct contrast to Al Jammaz Distribution's hardware business.

As the valueadded distributor (VAD) plans to go to market with cloud services through its newly launched Al Jammaz Cloud Platform, there is another question weighing heavily on channel partners' minds in the Gulf market.

AlJammaz, who's sat at the helm of Al Jammaz Distribution for over a decade now, has said he plans to grow the company's operations in the GCC and broader Middle East market with a comprehensive mix of products, solutions and cloud services that reflect the transitions and transformation happening in the Middle East IT distribution sector.

On his part, AlJammaz never underestimates a challenge, but as the pace of change accelerates, the question on partners' minds is how the company will changeover in the new frontier where the pace of change and the transitions

Al Jammaz Distribution faces are some of its toughest yet.

In an interview with Channel Middle East, AlJammaz detailed the company's game plan for capitalising on the rapidly shifting IT distribution landscape and why he believes Al Jammaz Distribution will be a leader in software-defined solutions and cloud - both the Saudi Arabia market and GCC.
