As Valentine's Day is fast approaching, Google is sharing the love by letting you create personalised movies for your loved ones.

In the past, Google Photos would automatically create the movies based on stored images that are linked into special occasions, however users can now custom-make their movies.

To use this feature, access the Google Photos app and select the Assistant tab and from there the Movies option. Users will then be instructed to select the theme and people or pets, thereafter Google will rely on its machine learning algorithms to select suitable photos and a soundtrack. Once completed, users will have the option to edit it if they aren't satisfied with the result and then share it.

The update is available for both Android and iOS, as well as on the web.
