Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd, a manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, has unveiled the X299 Designare EX motherboard.

Fully optimised to support the powerful Intel eighth generation Core i9 7980XE processor, the motherboard brings back highly regarded features such as RGB Fusion, Smart Fan 5 while adding Intel Thunderbolt 3 technology, RDIMM support, and other exciting features.

Performance wise, the new motherboard is in a class of its own and provides full support for the powerful 18-core Intel i9 7980XE processor, fulfilling the performance needs and expectations of content creators who strive to bring their creativity to life. To fully support the power hungry processor, the motherboard maximises the effectiveness of its server-grade VRM design with 12 power phases, each supplying up to 60 amps of power.
