StarLink inks distribution with FireMon Othman says the alliance enables StarLink to take a solution-centric approach with FireMon and complements existing offerings.

Regional VAD StarLink, has signed a distribution partnership with FireMon, a provider of network security policy management solutions for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META).

Under this collaboration, StarLink as FireMon's trusted advisor will provide value-added distribution services that include selling, installing and supporting FireMon products and solutions through its extensive network of channel partners to their end user customers.

According to the VAD, the initial focus will be to help enable resellers on FireMon solutions and aid in creating market awareness, visibility for the brand and partnership, and pipeline generation.

Nidal Othman, managing director, StarLink said: "FireMon's technology alliance ecosystem includes several of our other strategic vendors that are industry leaders in the firewall, virtualisation and security intelligence spaces. The integrated story enables us to take a solution-centric approach with FireMon, and complements our existing offerings. We are excited about this new partnership."
