Google Cloud is extending its regional footprint after signing a partnership with Shift Technologies, an AW Rostamani Group Company.

The partnership with Google will see Shift Technologies customers in the Middle East access Google Cloud’s infrastructure for secure, global and cost-effective services.

Yousef AlBarkawie, CEO of Shift Technologies said Shift Technologies can now deliver Google’s best-in-class cloud technology to its clients within the Middle East thanks to the partnership.

Google Cloud will allow customers in the Middle East to grow from prototype to production to planet-scale, without having to think about capacity, reliability or performance. Customers will only pay for what they use and have the option to scale up and down across the platform with a click of a button.

Abdel Wahed Bendaoua, head of Google Cloud MEA said the latest partnership with Shift Technologies allows the cloud provider to continue delivering on its commitment of providing consumers in this market with Google’s latest technology. “Consumers here in the Middle East are becoming ever increasingly tech savvy and we are glad to be able to cater to this. Together, Google and Shift Technologies are able to empower local technology leaders and every day customers to achieve their ‘smart’ needs.”
